About The Role

We are currently seeking an EHCP Keyworker to join our Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support department at The Bedford College Group.

As an EHCP Keyworker, you play an important role in the success of our students through:

• EHCP Provision & Compliance Management – Ensure high‑quality delivery of EHCP support, maintaining oversight of Section F provision, resolving gaps and ensuring compliance with statutory and funding requirements.
• Annual Reviews & Statutory Coordination – Lead EHCP annual reviews using a person‑centred approach, producing high‑quality reports and liaising with Local Authorities, parents and professionals.
• Progress Monitoring & Data‑Driven Intervention– Track and analyse learner progress against EHCP outcomes, using robust systems to identify risks and implement timely interventions.
• Preparing for Adulthood & Mentoring Support – Deliver structured PfA programmes and targeted mentoring to develop independence, wellbeing and progression into employment or further education.
• Quality Assurance, Partnerships & Professional Practice – Contribute to QA processes, provide staff guidance, build strong stakeholder relationships and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and CPD standards.

About You

• Qualifications & SEND Knowledge – Level 3 qualification with GCSE English and maths, alongside a relevant academic or vocational background and strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• SEND Support & EHCP Experience – Proven experience supporting young people with SEND and EHCPs, including leading annual reviews and working collaboratively with parents, carers and professionals.
• Communication, Reporting & Professional Practice – Excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality reports and maintain professional boundaries.
• Organisation, Independence & Teamwork – Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage workload effectively, work independently and contribute positively within a team environment.
• Professional Values, Flexibility & Safeguarding – Committed to safeguarding and continuous development, with a flexible approach to working across sites and maintaining a learner‑centred, inclusive approach.
