We are seeking a Phlebotomy Health care Assistant to join our Secondary Care Services based our dermatology clinics. This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys working independently, while being a part of a supportive and friendly team, working together to make a difference to how health services are delivered to patients.
An ideal candidate would have previous experience as Healthcare Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or any other clinical setting with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible. You must hold a Phlebotomy qualification and be experienced in collecting and processing venous blood samples.
We offer full training for the right candidate, all we ask is that you are reliable, professional, able to work independently, can commit to the working locations and hours and have excellent computer skills.
Following full training, you will be supporting our dermatologists and nurses in face-to-face clinics as well as assisting with minor procedures, you will also conduct your own phlebotomy and medical photography clinics where you will complete questionnaires with patients and take some specialised images.
There are 40 hours per week available over Monday to Friday, however weekend work may be required.
