We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our administrative team and support with coordination and scheduling of an expanded programme of work.
Reporting to the Service Manager for Acute Medicine & Stroke you will work closely with the Administrative and Clerical team to support the administration and scheduling of outpatient activity for the Stroke Medicine Service. A flexible approach and excellent interpersonal skills are essential in addition to high standards of customer service.
Working within the Stroke POD (administrative team) the post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative and clerical issues relating to a patient’s care pathway, tracking and supporting patients from referral to treatment &/or discharge.
The role will require you to manage and support queries from patients, GPs, clinicians, managers and fellow staff. Excellent telephone skills and good IT proficiency will be essential in helping with day-to-day duties.
