Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administration clerk to join our team. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various administrative tasks.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 25 hours a week, with set hours as follows:
Monday 12-5
Tuesday 9.30-2.30
Wednesday 12-5
Thursday 9.30-2.30
Friday 12-5
Key Tasks:
· To ensure that the results line is manned each working day between 11am-2pm – to give results to patients and chase up any outstanding results
· Timely completion of Hospital, Out of Hours and A&E letters
· Summarising of new records received
· Registrations, deductions and change of patient demographics within the clinical system
· Maintenance of the temporary Resident file and patient documentation
· Coordinate all aspects of the INR process , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective communication with Doctors and patients
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result in changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of the responsibility of the post.
As an employee of the Practice you are legally responsible for all records that you gather, create or use as part of your work within the Practice (including Patient health, financial, personal and administrative) whether paper based or electronic. All such records are considered public records, other than patients personal notes, and you have a legal duty of confidence to service users, even when you have left the Practice. All employees of the practice are required to maintain the confidentiality of members of the public and members of staff.
Pay: From £13.21 per hour
