Youth Connect South West (YCSW) is a young people’s charity in Bath and North East Somerset. We provide a range of services to support young people to enjoy today, prepare for tomorrow, and become the people they want to be.
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Key Workers to join our Alternative Education Team. You will provide intensive support to young people aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access educational opportunities and prepare for adulthood.
This role involves developing personalised action plans, coordinating with professionals, and supporting young people in their educational and personal development journeys. This is a community-based position and there will be a requirement to travel to young people’s homes across B&NES, and you will need to be able to support young people to travel to sessions.

Starting pay for new starters is set within the evaluated salary range for the role and is determined by objective criteria including relevant experience, skills and market data. Job evaluation ensures that pay decisions are consistent and defensible.

As part of this commitment anyone working in a post with children or vulnerable groups will be expected to undertake an Enhanced DBS check with/without barred list checks.
