Job Summary

We are looking for a Practice Nurse who will work as part of the Nursing Team, delivering high-quality, patient-focused nursing care. The role involves managing chronic diseases, delivering preventative care, supporting health promotion, and assisting in clinical procedures, in line with NHS standards and guidelines.

Main duties of the job

  • We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse who is currently confident in
  • Chronic disease management
  • Cervical smear taking
  • Immunisations administration for both adult and children
  • Travel vaccine administration and advice

About us

Earnswood Medical Centre is a well established practice based in Crewe. We are a friendly and forward thinking practice with some of our GP’s having specialist interests in Contraception, Education and Minor surgery.

We strive to maintain a supportive team environment for clinical and non-clinical members of staff alike.

We are an established training practice.

Our aim is to provide excellent clinical care to our patients and we have a genuine, family orientated and personalised approach to our patients.

We have a list size of approx. 17,200 patients.

We are a very friendly practice with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical staff. We have 6 partners, 5 salaried GP’s, 4 ACP’s a Clinical Pharmacy team, Practice Nurse Team, MSK practitioners and Social Prescriber all supported by an experienced management team.

  • Administer vaccines and injections safely and effectively.
  • Provide general nursing services including immunisations, and cervical screening.

  • Support minor surgery procedures and assist GPs when required.
