Faculty of Brain Sciences
We are a global leader in research and education focused on the mind and brain. Our vision is to solve the greatest health and wellbeing challenges in brain sciences to reduce the global burden of disease and transform society. Established in 2011, the Faculty brings together world-class expertise in psychology, psychiatry, prion diseases, ophthalmology and vision, language sciences, audiology, deafness and hearing, neurology, and basic neuroscience. With over 1,900 staff and 4,000 students, we are one of UCL’s most research-intensive Faculties.
The purpose of the role is to provide specialist administration to designated taught degree programmes, ensuring effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration. The role holder will assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to students and staff related to the designated taught degree programmes and beyond.
This is part time position at 0.5FTE (18.25hrs per week) and a minimum of 40% on campus.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Applicants should be very organised in your work, excellent at performing administrative duties, and comfortable using a variety of software and systems.
You will need good communication skills and have the desire to offer a high level of service. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team, liaise with a variety of people, and establish good working relationships with staff and students in a teaching and learning context.
