FINANCE ANALYST – LONDON – 12 MONTH FTC – UP TO £42k – HYBRID

Robert Half are delighted to be assisting an innovative organisation in their search for a Finance Analyst for a 12 month FTC, offering up to £42k and hybrid working!

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical individual to work closely with the Financial Controller, who will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, and improving the quality of financial data across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
• Analysing financial and operational data to support business performance.
• Preparing journals, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet support.
• Monitoring cash collection targets and following up on outstanding actions.
• Producing intercompany recharge invoices and ad-hoc reporting.
• Working across SAP, Excel, Coupa, and BPC reporting systems.
• Helping drive process improvements and finance system efficiencies.
• Supporting ad-hoc analysis projects and business improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Graduate or AAT part-qualified, with ambitions to study towards ACCA or CIMA.
• At least 2 years’ experience within a finance or commercial office environment.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
• SAP experience is essential.
• Exposure to ERP systems and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a solutions-focused mindset.
