Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join our Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organisation’s financial operations. Responsibilities

• Manage and process accounts payable transactions efficiently using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
• Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain organised records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of payments and accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Experience

• Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
• Demonstrable knowledge of accounts payable procedures and general ledger management.
• Previous experience in a similar administrative or finance role is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively. Pay: From £12.71 per hour
