Are you the kind of person who thrives on keeping things organised, running smoothly, and one step ahead? Do you love being at the heart of a busy team where no two days are the same? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re on the lookout for a confident, proactive and highly organised Admin Support Officer to support our Corporate Services Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping things ticking behind the scenes of our Corporate Affairs Directorate.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be the go-to person for all things admin – keeping diaries on track, coordinating busy meeting schedules, and making sure everything is in place for smooth operational delivery. From organising meetings to supporting senior teams, you’ll be right at the centre of the action.
What we’re looking for:
Someone with excellent organisational skills who can juggle competing priorities with ease
A self-starter who uses initiative to solve problems and keep things moving
A flexible and adaptable team player who can respond to changing demands
A professional approach, with a keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
Why join us?
You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution genuinely makes a difference. If you enjoy variety, responsibility and being the person people rely on to keep things running smoothly – this role is for you.
You’ll play a central role in keeping the Corporate Affairs function running smoothly, acting as a first point of contact for a wide range of queries from staff, patients, visitors and senior stakeholders. Whether responding to calls, managing enquiries or supporting the resolution of concerns, you’ll ensure a professional, responsive and customer-focused service at all times.
Alongside this, you’ll provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Corporate Affairs Team, Chair and Director – expertly managing busy diaries, coordinating meetings and handling correspondence with efficiency and discretion. From preparing high-quality documents and presentations to maintaining effective administrative systems and chasing key actions, you’ll keep information flowing and priorities on track. You’ll also support meetings, welcome visitors, organise logistics and step in to assist colleagues when needed, bringing a proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to everything you do.
Working for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust means being part of a team that really looks after its people. As a teaching hospital, the Trust is big on learning and development, offering plenty of opportunities to build your skills, grow your confidence and progress your career. You’ll be encouraged to keep learning, take on training opportunities and share knowledge with colleagues, all within a supportive environment where development is genuinely valued and everyone is helped to reach their full potential.
