Responsible To: Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) 

Contract: Full-time, term-time only 

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm 

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: Grade 6 (£23,893 – £25,979 FTE)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Attendance Officer to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school where children are at the heart of everything we do, and where our shared vision and values shape daily practice.

Purpose of the Role

To secure high levels of pupil attendance and punctuality across Banister Primary School by maintaining robust systems, working in partnership with families, and contributing to safeguarding procedures.

The Attendance Officer will play a key role in ensuring all pupils are able to access the school’s ambitious curriculum, reflecting our commitment to a vibrant, inclusive and high-achieving school community.
