A growing and forward-thinking independent accountancy practice in Braintree is looking to welcome an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across audit, accounts, and tax while progressing within a structured and well-supported environment.

The Opportunity:

In this varied and hands-on role, you will:

• Prepare statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Assist with and lead audit assignments, including more complex areas
• Produce management accounts and provide meaningful financial insights
• Support with corporation tax computations and compliance work
• Build strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact
• Identify opportunities to improve client systems and processes
• Support and review the work of junior team members

About You:

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or actively studying)
• Experience within an accountancy practice
• Exposure to both audit and accounts work
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Motivated to learn, develop and progress your career
