to recruit new staff to join our existing teams.
We are
looking for skilled and dynamic Specialist Neurological Occupational therapist, with a
passion for neurological rehabilitation and clinical excellence in the
following exciting development:
Hobbs Rehabilitation at Chedington – Dorset
We
are excited to be setting up this brand new service in the grounds of the
stunning Chedington Estate in Dorset. We
will have a range of fully accessible, luxury independent living accommodation
with state-of-the-art facilities, including gyms and hydro pools, with access
to adaptive sporting opportunities across the estate. We will provide bespoke intensive
rehabilitation packages to adults and children with a range of conditions,
including brain injury, spinal cord injury, poly-trauma and amputation and
other neurological conditions, utilizing the latest neuro technology alongside
clinical excellence in neurological and amputee rehab and complimentary
therapeutic activities such as massage and adaptive sports
We are looking for an experienced OTwith an interest in this
exciting area of rehab to join our existing team in developing this new service

The role will include assessment and treatment for a caseload of neurological patients with both physical and cognitive impairments. The role will be within a very supportive MDT working towards a range of rehabilitation goals, participating in family meetings, MDTs and discharge planning.
In 2005, neuro physiotherapists Helen Hobbs and Nicky Ellis set up Hobbs Rehabilitation and since then it has expanded offering an exceptional level of personalised skill and expertise. Now operating from a number of locations, Hobbs Rehabilitation provides specialist inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation for adults and children across the south of England, treating a wide variety of conditions, including stroke, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries. An expert team of over 100 therapists, including OT, PT, SLT and Psychology, provide an interdisciplinary patient-centred neuro rehabilitation service, ensuring the individual is placed at the centre of care.
We are passionate about pursuing the latest advances in research and technology to support our clients and staff to achieve their full potential, through involvement in research projects, development of services, and support for training and CPD.
