We are seeking dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team based in the vibrant area of Ilford Exchange. The position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by assessing and supporting housebound adults in their home environment.
The Role
This role involves working closely with housebound adults, providing assessments and tailored therapies in their homes. As part of our integrated team, you will collaborate with professionals from various disciplines to enhance individuals’ quality of life and promote their independence. The role is both challenging and highly rewarding, offering opportunities to make a tangible difference in peoples lives.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of housebound adults within their home settings.
Design and implement tailored therapy plans to support independence and well-being.
Work collaboratively with social services, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, district and neuro nurses, and other team members to provide holistic care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Professional qualification as an occupational therapist.
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Previous experience in a community-based healthcare setting.

Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, CEME) This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 p.a. pro rata for part time).
