Office Assistant – Local Care Provider Based at our Westcliff office
3 days per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £12.80 per hour

Summercare are seeking a reliable and organised Office Assistant to join our friendly team at our Westcliff office. The role involves providing essential clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data records and filing systems (both electronic and paper-based)
• Handle correspondence via phone and email, including responding to queries and taking messages
• Organise files and prepare documents, reports, and presentations
• Review and verify agency invoices by contacting services directly
• Support with general office duties to ensure efficiency and professionalism
• Learn and assist with various office functions, including Payroll, Maintenance, and our Digital Care Planning System

Skills and Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Willingness to learn and progress within the role
