Pastoral Lead (Special Educational Needs)
Salary: GBP15.37 : GBP16.78 per hour (GBP27,463 : GBP29,982 per year)
Contract: Permanent, Full:Time, Term:Time Only (Enjoy your school holidays)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Specialist Independent Provision : Mansfield

How You Will Support Our Students: : Every interaction has a purpose. As our Pastoral Lead, you will be the go:to person for students needing emotional, social, and behavioural guidance.
You will build trusted relationships with students, parents, and carers.
You will run 1:1 wellbeing interventions and facilitate student councils.
You will champion safeguarding and look for proactive ways to improve school attendance.
You will use your de:escalation skills to keep our learning spaces calm and therapeutic.
You will keep accurate records to ensure no student falls through the cracks.
What You Bring to the Team: * A passion for working with neurodivergent youth (SEND/ASC).
A relevant Level 3 qualification or higher.
A driving licence (essential for regional student support).
The ability to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet.
Previous experience in a school, pupil referral unit (PRU), or alternative provision is highly desirable.
