Receptionist /Care Navigator Job at Essex Full Time

Job summary

We have an exciting new opportunity for a receptionist to join the team based in Mersea Island Medical Practice on a part-time basis for 29 hours per week.

Interviews will be carried out, for successful applicants, on receipt of application and we reserve the right to retract the advert if a suitable person is found before the end date.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Booking appointments
• Greeting patients
• Answering queries from patients and outside agencies and/or signposting to appropriate members of staff
• Updating patient records
• Processing correspondence and liaising with patients using various different types of communication methods

We are an established practice in West Mersea, we also have a CQC rating of good.

We are a training practice, and the team consists of 5 GP partners, 5 registrar, 1 ANP and a nursing team along with a very supportive administrative & reception teams
